In the state of Tennessee, drivers can choose to purchase specialty or personalized license plates in place of a standard-issue plate. While these plates may represent a variety of causes, organizations, or designs, a portion of the proceeds from all personalized plates supports the Tennessee Arts Commission.
Through this funding, the Tennessee Arts Commission is able to partner with and support arts organizations across the state, including the Nashville African American Wind Symphony, Inc. (NAAWS).
How It Works
When you purchase a personalized license plate in Tennessee:

A portion of your plate fee is allocated to the Tennessee Arts Commission
